Through its work, the Foundation aims to make the positions of the Catholic Church more understandable and more visible, thus impacting international law and culture. It does this by supporting the day-to-day advocacy work of the Holy See Mission, the Order of Malta and Catholic NGOs in Geneva. It conducts research into emerging international topics such as cyberspace, universal access to medicines, labour, the family, intellectual property etc. It then disseminates this knowledge through publications, events and other activities. Finally, it seeks to communicate the good works and impact of the extensive social service provided by Catholic-inspired institutions around the world, especially those projects which serve the most vulnerable.
A selection of the Foundation’s most recent research papers:
- Human Fraternity in Cyberspace- Ethical Challenges and Opportunities
- Education as a Driver to Integral Growth and Peace
- Rethinking Labour
- Universal Access to Medicines
